As you are probably aware, Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) is the eleventh and final version of the Internet Explorer web browser by Microsoft. Microsoft are no longer actively developing Internet Explorer, replacing it with Microsoft Edge as their default web browser. This means many new web features are not being supported in Internet Explorer and that limits the functionality that developers are able to deliver. Due to this, Microsoft has directly recommended to not use Internet Explorer other than for internal sites where you have no alternative.
As Microsoft has stopped actively supporting Internet Explorer, developers over the world have stopped testing on it and now support only modern browsers instead. IE11 represents less than 2% of web browser traffic and that percentage is decreasing.
As a result, ProWorkflow has decided to phase out official support for IE11 starting 31 March 2020. This means that from that day onwards, we will no longer resolve minor issues with IE11. We will endeavor to address any major issues but can make no guarantees that such issues will be fixed.
We carefully considered this decision, and we believe the timeframe should allow you ample time to prepare for the end of IE11 support. We recommend upgrading to Microsoft Edge, or switching to one of our other supported browsers – Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Please feel free to contact our support team with any questions you may have around this.
Kindest regards,
The ProWorkflow Team
