Another year, another chapter.
With our feet now firmly in 2020, we thought it was time to give you a glimpse into some exciting things Proworkflow has planned for the first part of the year ahead.
Considering every company is unique, being able to offer highly capable and customizable ProWorkflow features is very important to us. We always have a list of things to work on, but in 2020 we are really putting our back into it.
So what is some of the work we are currently doing behind the scenes you’ll be happy to hear about?
· Project Kanban Board
For a lot of companies, Kanban boards are high on the wishlist to help push a project through completion. It’s easy enough to understand because Kanban Boards are highly visual and intuitive tools, workflows are clearly defined and teams easily identify priorities.
You’ll be able to experience all these benefits for yourself in the very near future.
Of course, ProWorkflow previously offered the Agile Board App, but we are now moving to a fully integrated Kanban Board to manage projects and tasks (projects are first with tasks coming a bit later in 2020) within the ProWorkflow tool itself
But that’s not the only big upgrade we have lined up.
· Task Dependencies
This is something that we suspect will be highly anticipated by many of you. The Dependencies we have in the ProWorkflow Timeline are getting a massive revamp with full-blown Dependencies including predecessors and criteria to be introduced in the very near future.
To make sure we are nailing our clients expectations, we welcome your thoughts on our work so far. So if you would like to get involved with the new Task Dependencies testing, we would love to hear from you.
· Task Categories
Task Categories are another big item you’ll be able to see this year. In the same way we are already offering this for Projects, it’ll be available for Tasks too and will work seamlessly with the new Kanban board!
· Further improvements of our Reports
Last but not least, we will continue to make further improvements on our reports. Last year we sunk our teeth in a from-the-ground-up rebuild of the ProWorkflow Reports. This rolled out in September, but we are continuing to fine-tune our flexible and powerful Reports Tool to make it even more outstanding.
While I’m sure you will be very pleased with the above improvements lined up for the first half of 2020, it is by no means the full story of what we currently have on the developers table. Obviously, we’ll continue to provide you with updates as things move along.
And finally, we always love to hear your feedback and ideas for further improvements. We hope to hear from you soon!
