INSTRUCTIONS FOR A CLEAN INSTALLATION
=============================================
STEP 1
Unzip the contents of the Proworkflow zip package to a location on your webroot.
STEP 2
Install your ProWorkflow License file (PWF_REGISTRATION_KEY.XML) to the "license" folder of your ProWorkflow installation.
STEP 3
Choose either the MS Access Database or the MSSQL database. Instructions for the MSSQL installation are included in a seperate txt file in this installation package.
STEP 4
Create a Coldfusion DSN named "proworkflow_v5.0" and have it connect to your choosen database. The database has a default user/password assigned. This combination can either be configured into the Coldfusion datasource when creating it, or can be passed to the server at request time by entering it into the specified params on the app_globals.cfm file.
The default user/password is:
User: proworkflow_sys
Password: safari
If you change the user/password combination in the database please remeber to update it in the app_globals.cfm file.
There are 2 jpg images of the Coldfusion administrator config as an example in the "_database" folder of the application.
STEP 5
Open the "app_globals.cfm" file, located in the root of the Proworkflow application hirarchy, using Notepad or a similar text editor. Change the settings to match your own webserver and database configuration.
STEP 6
Browse to your ProWorkflow installation and use the following login details to enter for the first time...
USER: demo
PASSWORD: demo
Once you have logged in, you can modify the demo user profile to match your own details.

USING SQL ENTERPRISE MANAGER (To setup the SQL database)
=====================================================

OPTION 1 - USE THE SQL SCRIPT TO CREATE THE DATABASE
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Open the file "proworkflow_v5.0.sql" in the "_database" folder of your proworkflow application.
2. Select all the SQL code and copy it to your clipboard
3. Open SQL Enterprise Manager and select the SQL Server you want to create the database on
4. Go to menu: TOOLS / SQL Query Analyzer
5. Paste the copied SQL code in to the query window
6. Click the "Execute Query" button (or F5) to run the code and create the database

OPTION 2 - USE THE SQL BACK-UP FILE (.bak)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Add a new database called "ProWorkflow_v5.0"
2. Use the "Restore Database" task
3. Select the "From Device" option
4. Browse to the "ProWorkflow_v5.0.bak" file (found in the proworkflow/_database folder) and select it
5. Set "Restore backup set" = "Database - complete"
6. On the "Options" tab you may need to re-specify the database files paths/names to match where you just created your new "proworkflow" database on your SQL server.
